This fun, family oriented fun walk/run will be held on Saturday, June 8th, 2013. The event will take place at West Park in Carmel, IN

The goal of the day is to raise awareness and research funding for the American Brain Tumor Association.  The ABTA is a not-for-profit, independent organization. Not affiliated with any one institution, they serve individuals globally and award funds to researchers throughout the United States and Canada.

There are many ways to help: Be an event co-organizer; an event sponsor; an event day volunteer or donate goodies for the racer packets. 

 

Past news:

June 10, 2012: A huge thank you to all our volunteers, individuals and team participants that made the 8th annual Head for the Cure a big success! The early estimate of our donation to the ABTA should be in the $34,000 to $36,000 range. The date for the 2013 event will be posted soon. Thanks again and see you again next year. We are still accepting online donations for the 2012 event.

June 7, 2012: Online registration is closed. Plan to arrive before 7:30 for a parking spot inside of West Park. Overflow parking is available across the street at University High School. Weather looks great for Saturday!

May 29, 2012: Online registration will close Wednesday June 6th at midnight. Event day registration will open at 7am, event starts 8:30am

May 23, 2012: We are excited to announce that Fox 59's Bob Donaldson will be emceeing this year! They are proud to be sharing in such a special event!

May 11, 2012: Advanced registration is ahead of the record crowd we had in 2011. Plan to arrive early for parking inside West Park. Overflow parking will be at University High School located on the south side of 116th street, directly across the street from the Park.

February 10, 2012: Registration is now open. Download your entry form or via online registration. Form a team, set fundraising goals and get your family and friends involved in the event.

January 5, 2012: Please mark your calendar! The date for our 8th annual event is June 9, 2012.

May 23, 2011: Thank you to all the wonderful volunteers, individuals and team participants that made the 7th annual Head for the Cure a huge success! Another sunny and clear Saturday morning brought us record participation with 786 registered runners and walkers (182 in the competitive/timed division). The early estimate of our donation to the ABTA should be in the $32,000 to $34,000 range. The date for the 2012 event will be posted soon. Thanks again and see you again next year. We are still accepting online donations for the 2011 event.

May 19, 2011: Online registration is closed. Race day registration opens at 7:30am. See you Saturday. Overflow parking will be available at University High School, just across the street from West Park

March 4, 2011: Create your own Team online! New for this year! We will be adding the capability for you to create your own personal Team support page, set fundraising goals and get your family and friends involved in the event. We anticipate having the Team page and general online registration operational next week.
